National Farm Safety Week 23 is in full swing and providing a timely reminder into the safe use of agricultural machinery such as side-by-sides.
The use of side-by-sides on farms and lifestyle properties provides a welcome flexibility as a universal workhorse. Taking the time to do a pre-start safety check can prevent accidents from occurring. This includes wearing of helmets, use of seatbelts and wearing of high-visibility clothing. Additional considerations include fitting doors or nets to prevent limbs from protruding from the vehicle in the event of a rollover.
