Congratulations to the finalists of the 2024 Automotive Industry Awards!

The Motor Vehicle Insurance and Repair Industry (MVIRI) Code Administration Committee (CAC) has met significant milestones as it continues its work to review the MVIRI Code of Conduct (Code) in response to the independent review conducted by Dr Michael Schaper.

One of Asia’s largest and most important automotive trade shows starts today. 

Members are reminded that under both the Vehicle Repair, Services and Retail Award 2020 (VRSR Award) and the Clerks – Private Sector Award 2020 (Clerks Award), an employer and employee may mutually agree to substitute another day for the public holiday where employers may trade.

Members of VACC’s Farm and Industrial Machinery Dealers Association (FIMDA) are advised that VACC’s Industry Policy Advisor Mick McKenna has today been appointed by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) as the Farm and Industrial Machinery Dealers Association of Australia (FIMDAA) delegate on the ACCC’s Agriculture Consultative Committee (AgCC).
