About Us

Founded in 1918, the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is Victoria's leading automotive industry employer association. We protect and promote our members' interests through powerful advocacy, comprehensive support services, and innovative industry solutions.

Our membership spans 15 Industry Divisions, covering all automotive sectors from passenger vehicles to agricultural machinery, encompassing retail, service, repair, and manufacturing environments. VACC members employ over 50,000 Victorians and are the backbone of Victoria's automotive industry.


History

Founded in 1918, we began as the Retail Motor Dealers’ Association of Victoria to protect local businesses. With over 100 years of history, we’ve grown into a key industry body, providing vital business services to our members.

Workplace Gender Equality Report

In accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Act), the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (Agency) on 30 May 2025.
