Time to showcase automotive

13 December 2022

Great news!

My mates at the Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) have reimagined and re-launched their 2023 industry recognition program under the banner of Automotive Industry Awards (AIA).

And you wanna know the best news? I’ll be there keeping it all together on the night as the MC.

The new Automotive Industry Awards – I call it AIA, saves time, you know – incorporates the awards programs run separately for Victorian and Tasmanian members. VACC will also recognise its apprentices from across both states, and the program will finish with the President’s Gala Dinner.

What’s not to like?

Applications for the 2023 AIA are now open. Apply here!

Entering the AIA is a great way for members to showcase their businesses and staff achievements. Finalists and winners will gain recognition for their successes, which is a great way for them to promote their businesses to consumers.

We’ll award winners at the 2023 President’s Gala Dinner. With yours truly on microphone duties, the gala will be a jam-packed evening of entertainment, gourmet food and drinks, magic, music, and dancing. On the night, we’ll also celebrate the next generation, VACC and TACC Automotive Apprenticeships’ award winners and graduating apprentices.

Members who submit their AIA applications in December 2022 get exclusive access to premium seats at the 2023 President’s Gala Dinner, so they’ll be able to see me even better. Nice.

The award categories for the 2023 Automotive Industry Awards are:

  • Best Small Automotive Business – Regional Victoria
  • Best Large Automotive Business – Regional Victoria
  • Best Small Automotive Business – Metropolitan Victoria
  • Best Large Automotive Business – Metropolitan Victoria

  • Best Small Automotive Business – Tasmania
  • Best Large Automotive Business – Tasmania

  • President’s Award Employer of the Year (sponsored by DENSO)
  • President’s Award Employee of the Year (sponsored by DENSO)

Applications for the Automotive Industry Awards close on 10 February 2023.

Special thanks to major partner DENSO for their support of AIA and the wider automotive industry.
