Roaring success

1 March 2022

The 2022 Women in Collision Seminar and Awards was a roaring success, the Sydney event an opportunity for those working in the body repair sector to reconnect face-to-face and celebrate leaders in the field.

Guest speaker, VACC Industry Policy Advisor, Kathy Zdravevski addressed attendees to discuss the importance of effective communication – a topical subject as businesses emerge from a challenging two years, and make plans to adapt and collaborate to execute business and customer objectives for 2022.

While promoting the importance of creating and maintaining digital connections in business – in the new era of remote learning and working – Ms Zdravevski reminded listeners that the key to successful communication was knowing their audience’s needs, and structuring engaging, to the point and relevant communications accordingly.

Attendees also heard from keynote speaker, Natalee Johnston, sharing her journey to become the Navy's first female pilot, and Andrea McCarthy of McCarthy Panel Works who talked about the power of a fresh perspective in business.

Finally, the winners – from a pool of over 150 strong contenders – of the Women in Collision Awards were revealed. For the full Winners List, read: Women in Collision seminar and awards wrap up.
