All the way from the USA, special guest and highly regarded speaker, Dirk Fuchs - the founder and CEO of Electric Mobility Consulting LCC - will deliver an information packed presentation on electric vehicle technology including:
• Real world examples/case studies on thermal runaway
• How to intake electric and hybrid vehicles
• How to read battery data
• Why thermal imaging cameras and co-monitoring are so important
• How to safely disable the high voltage system
• Servicing and dignostics.
With over 20 years of automotive experience, Dirk has become a recognised industry subject matter expert in hybrid and EV technology. Dirk recently founded Electric Mobility Consulting LLC after moving on from I-Car. He recognised there was a high demand for in-depth technical information and training from the automotive repair industry. Dirk has gone on to create a high voltage qualification and established the Automotive Certified Training Academy LLC.
Dirk also became the first IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) accredited training provider in the USA to educate technicians under the IMI International High Voltage Training curriculum.
His passion for the automotive industry began in 2002 as a technical training specialist/instructor for Volkswagen, Germany. Recruited by ZF Services, a global technology and supplies system provider, offering comprehensive automated driving and electric mobility solutions for manufacturers and newly emerging transport and mobility service providers.
