Coronavirus: Victoria lockdown extended

20 July 2021

The Victorian Premier has announced that the Victorian snap lockdown will be extended and current settings will continue for the next seven days until Tuesday, 27 July at 11.59pm.

There remains only five reasons for people to leave home:

  • shopping for things that are needed (once per day)
  • care and caregiving
  • exercise (up to two hours per day)
  • authorised work and permitted education
  • to get vaccinated and other specified reasons.

For further restriction details, refer to a recent Chamber Bulletin.

VACC recommends that COVIDSafe Plans be reviewed to ensure they remain current, requirements are being adhered to and details are communicated with all relevant staff. The VACC Workplace Relations team is available to answer questions and provide support. For COVIDSafe Plan obligations, members can contact the VACC OHSE Unit for more information.
