We a seeking a Light Vehicle Mechanic who would like a change of work style and who has a love for the old classic cars to specialise in carburettor rebuilding, restoration and tuning to join our team  in our busy dedicated workshop located in Airport West with an immediate start for the successful person. Most of the work is bench-based however we do venture out to cover carburettors on tractors and forklifts as well.

About Us

Wilson Carburettor Service and B&M Fuel Systems specialise in Carburettor service, repairs, reconditioning and tuning of all automotive carburettors as well as Fuel injector cleaning, dyno tuning, EFI diagnosis and LPG Tuning. The more obscure the car or carburettor, the more they like it. In fact, it would be hard to imagine a car or carburettor that they haven’t worked on.

If you are reading this, you will already be well aware that specialists familiar with carburettors fitted to standard, high performance and special interest cars are getting very hard to find. Luckily Wilson Carburettor Service and B&M Fuel Systems not only have that specialist knowledge but they are building their business to ensure that their skills and experience is available to car enthusiasts for many years to come.

What We are Looking For

The suitable person would hold the following attributes:

  • Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Carburettors
  • Experience working on Carburettors
  • A passion for classic cars
  • Fitting and Machining experience (Lathe work exp)
  • A solid work ethic producing quality workmanship at all times
  • Punctual and  Reliable
  • Keen to get off the tools and specialise on carburettors.
