AASRA Executive Officer Rodger Nardi retires after successful tenure

Dear VACC members, 

The Australian Automotive Service and Repair Authority (AASRA) Board has announced the retirement of Executive Officer Rodger Nardi, effective 12 September 2024.

Rodger joined AASRA as its first Executive Officer i­­n November 2022 and has been instrumental in shaping the organisation during its critical implementation phase. His leadership and dedication have been pivotal in establishing AASRA as a respected entity within the automotive industry.

Throughout his tenure, Rodger has been a driving force in steering AASRA forward. His active participation in numerous industry seminars, conferences, and events has significantly raised the organisation's profile and fostered important relationships within the automotive industry.

The Board has commended Rodger for his diligent work alongside the board and external stakeholders, including the ACCC MVIS team. His efforts have been crucial in advancing AASRA's mission and objectives.

As Rodger departs, he leaves AASRA in a considerably stronger position than when he arrived. His contributions have laid a solid foundation for the organisation's continued growth and success.

The AASRA Board has advised they are actively seeking Rodger's successor and will soon begin the interview process to ensure a smooth leadership transition.

VACC extends our heartfelt gratitude to Rodger for his valuable contributions to AASRA and wishes him all the best in his retirement.
