Body repair and accident towing automotive EV training

11 August 2023

The Victorian Automotive Chamber of Commerce (VACC) is excited to advise Body Repair Division (BRD) and Towing Operators Division (TOD) members that enrollments are continuing in accredited Electric Vehicle (EV) training.

VACC has responded to member feedback and developed EV Training exclusively for those in the panel repair and towing industry. Issues that have come to the attention of VACC include that current national EV training, while equipping industry professionals with the skills to depower and reinitialise battery electric vehicles, falls short of necessary industry-specific panel and accident towing EV safe operating procedures, competencies, and body repair and accident towing work practices.

VACC’s future-focussed policy approach enables a culture of continuous improvement that will benefit every body repair and towing business in Australia, its customers and all relevant stakeholders.

VACC supports the sector through education and guidance and offers the training now!
