Victoria's circuit breaker lockdown has been extended until at least Friday, 11 June in a bid to contain the growing cluster of cases in the state.
This second phase of the circuit breaker will come into force from Thursday, 3 June 11.59pm and Metro Melbourne and regional restrictions will differ.
VACC confirms automotive, as an essential service, can still remain open during this time. However, vehicle and parts sales operations are limited to click-and-collect services only.
Permitted Worker Permits are not required but VACC reminds members it is mandatory for every business with onsite operations to have a COVIDSafe Plan.
A member Bulletin has also been distributed and includes further details on restrictions.
The Chamber Workplace Relations team is available to support members and answer questions they may have about their obligations.
