Positive dealer outcomes with carsales.com.au

Key outcomes of carsales.com.au and VACC Dealer Advisory Board (DAB) discussions have been revealed, and VACC thanks the leading online marketplace for taking on board industry feedback and insight.

A joint initiative between carsales.com.au and VACC, DAB's purpose is to review the rules, service elements and functionality of the carsales.com.au platform, with discussions being informed in part by feedback from VACC’s Victorian Automobile Dealers Association, Used Car Traders Division, Motorcycle Industry Division, and Commercial Vehicle Industry Association.

An issues register was compiled and addressed, including:

• Autogate app
• Mobile synchronisation
• Lead credit process
• Reviewing lead transactions
• Review of private advertisers.
