Coronavirus: Energy efficiency grants up to $20,000

VACC Alliance Partner, Smart Power is offering its industry expertise to members interested in applying for the Federal Government's Energy Efficient Communities Program. The initiative provides small businesses $5,000 – $20,000 grants in order to help them improve energy efficiency.

If successful, businesses can use funds to save energy through: 

  • replacing existing equipment with higher efficiency equipment
  • installing or replacing a component/s to help an existing system run more efficiently
  • carrying out energy audits
  • carrying out monitoring of energy usage and emissions.

The grant opportunity is available to small businesses with an annual turnover of less than $10 million per year, based on Business Activity Statements from the last 12-month period.
