The best automotive businesses in Tasmania have been announced at the 2018 TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards.
TACC instituted the awards in 2005 in recognition of the many excellent automotive businesses operating in Tasmania that offer exceptional customer satisfaction, unparalleled commitment to staff, and local community support. TACC General Manager, Malcolm Little, said that the TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards clearly demonstrate TACC members’ dedication to excellence.
“Winners of the TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards really are Tasmania’s finest automotive businesses,” Mr Little said.
Categories for the 2018 TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards include mechanical repair, under body repair, body repair, auto electrical, new and used car and motorcycle dealers, towing operators, and tyre dealers.
“TACC received many excellent applications from all over the state. Judging these entrants and refining the field to the finalists, and then the eventual winners, was a very difficult task. Winning an award in 2018 – in our 90th year – is particularly significant,” Mr Little said.
Judges evaluated entries based on customer service, professional development, industry improvement, and environmental and occupational health and safety, to ensure that only the best applicants would be announced as 2018 TACC Castrol Motor Industry Awards winners.
“The awards program is moving from strength to strength, which clearly shows that it is valued by industry. TACC congratulates all of the winners and recommends them to Tasmanian motorists,” Mr Little said.
Category winners were announced at a gala evening on Saturday, 28 April at Wrest Point Casino, Hobart.
