Ever wondered where a career in automotive might take you?

At a panel event hosted at VACC House in North Melbourne, Women in Automotive engaged and informed audience members about the many opportunities available in automotive. Specifically, the night's discussion focussed on the different, and often non-traditional, careers available in the industry.

With motoring journalist Nadine Armstrong facilitating, audience members heard from the owner of Miss Auto, Paula Katz and owner and Managing Director of Pick-a-Part | AA recycling, Emma McIndoe. As successful business leaders in the automotive field, the panellists were on hand to answer audience questions and cover key careers topics:

• Setting goals and never giving up until they are achieved
• The importance of building a support network
• Seeking mentors
• Providing mentorship and support to others
• The importance of thinking big.
