Peter Savige becomes VACC Life Member

Respected long-time member and Past President Peter Savige is VACC’s newest Life Member.
Mr Savige’s involvement in the automotive industry spans almost 50 years, having founded Hilton Motor Company in 1978.
Mr Savige joined VACC on 19 March 1985 and has played important roles in representing used-car traders in his long-standing role as Chairman of the Victorian Used Car Traders Division, and VACC members generally through his tireless work with the Executive Board and Board of Management. He served as VACC President between 2014 – 2016.
Mr Savige’s other industry involvements include acting as a motor industry representative on the Motor Car Traders Guarantee Fund, he was the VACC representative to MTAA Limited for 12 years; he has chaired the VACC Finance and Audit Committee and the Investment Committee, and he sits on the Industry Policy Council. He has also been a member of the MTAA Super/Spirit Super board.
Executive Board member and Past President Tony Sanchez raised Mr Savige’s nomination and a group of peers conferred VACC life membership upon Mr Savige at the November 2021 Annual General Meeting. He is in esteemed company.
