Coronavirus: Lockdown lifted in regional Victoria

5 August 2021

The Victorian Premier has announced that the COVID-19 lockdown will be lifted in regional Victoria from 11:59pm tonight.

In summary, in regional Victoria, the current 'five reasons stay at home' requirement will be removed. There is no change to current lockdown restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne.

All automotive business workplaces in regional Victoria may operate subject to COVIDSafe requirements, as outlined in the updated Table of Restrictions released by the Victorian Government.
