Coronavirus: Victoria’s Last Step in the Roadmap

Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews has announced a further easing of restrictions state-wide. Below are some key takeaways from the announcement, however, for more detail on the changes, members are encouraged to review the Summary of Last Step Restrictions document which is available on the Premier's website.

From Sunday, 22 November at 11.59pm:

• Face masks are no longer mandatory if outdoors, provided social distancing is maintained. If 1.5 metres is not possible, a mask must be worn – for example, peak time at public transport stations, outdoor markets, walkways and thoroughfares
• Face masks remain mandatory when indoors – for example, the supermarket or on public transport
• Victorians must continue to carry a face mask with them at all times
• The number of visitors to a home will increase from two to 15 per day. That can be split across different times as long as people are sticking to a total of 15
• Outdoor gatherings in a public place will increase to 50
• Weddings will increase to 150 people
• Funerals and religious ceremonies will increase to 150 people indoors.

Importantly, cleaning, signage, record keeping, and other COVIDSafe requirements continue to apply for all venues and facilities with onsite operations.
