Heavy vehicle professionals – it’s training time

2 October 2018

Australian Road Transport Suppliers Association (ARTSA) is calling for truck and trailer types to enrol in Certification, Engineering and Modifications heavy vehicle training from Monday, 12 November – Wednesday, 14 November.

The training will run over three days, each day covering a separate course subject. Attendees have the flexibility to choose whether to enrol in all or select days.

Course subjects include Certification, Engineering and Modifications, and will be led by electrical engineer Peter Hart. Hart is also an Agent in the Road Vehicle Certification System and a VicRoads engineering signatory.

Each course subject covers areas of knowledge crucial to those with a professional interest in heavy truck and trailer safety and mechanical performance. Training will be of particular interest to workshop and fleet operation managers, vehicle engineers and modifiers, component suppliers and manufacturers.

Centrally located VACC House is the chosen venue for the training, which is being offered in conjunction with the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association Australia (CVIAA) and Commercial Vehicle Industry Association (CVIA) Victoria.

To attend, visit artsa.com.au/training and download a registration form or enrol online. Cost details, comprehensive subject overviews and more information about Dr Peter Hart is also available via the ARTSA website.

For any other enquiries, contact ARTSA Executive Officer Rob Perkins via exec@artsa.com.au or 0411 402 832.
